Assisi

Lake Fiastra
Lago di Fiastra is a stunning man made lake set in the dramatic landscape of the Sibillini Mountains. The lake is surrounded by a shingle beach, and in summer is warm enough to swim in. San Lorenzo offers a few shops and restaurants for you to enjoy as well as boat and canoe hire. You could enjoy a days fishing (license obtained from the local post office), walk one of the many trails, bird watch for the plentiful golden eagles or just find yourself a secluded spot and enjoy a days sunbathing.
